They look like the Sabres of 2 years ago. 9 shots thru 2 periods:rage:

Hopefully they can play 1 good period and pull this out

Couldn't have said it any better, myself. :rage:

Looks like Buffalo has the usual weakness from years past: "Weak" teams making fools out of them.

Right on, the PP finally gets on track tonight!

Mark-Paul Gossalear, aka Jochen Hecht, with the top shelf wrister!!

Now, let's not see the team slack off the rest of the way.

Speaking of job out, way to go, Sabres, getting yourself into a 5-on-3 situation.

That was a foregone conclusion, giving up a goal on a 5-on-3. Only the Sabres can't score on a 5-on-3. :crap:

They were out skated all night. Good win for the Caps. I hope this isn't the begining of a trend for Buffalo.

The Sabres were lackluster until the end of the game. The refs blew a few calls against Washington especially after they called Buffalo for the same crap earlier in the period.

Well hopefully they will learn from this and kick some ass this weekend against NJ & NY islanders.

way to promote the teams regionalism by playing like sh-t in rochester...

They were outplayed and I was quite dissapointed because I know we are a better team than that.

I say suicides during tomorrows practice. eh?

I think they thought they were playing in the AHL again, so they didnt have to try their best and they figured if they did that they could still pull off a win? shmucks!

My Sources Say Biron Is Starting against Jersey to Give Miller Time off to Face the Isles...

as for the game

who cares... 6-3 in 9 games is better than 1-7-1, or 2-6-1 (heh)

i dont recal the starting W-L from 99-20 or 00-01

anyways.. it woulda been 2-2 but our luck with disallowed goals sucks.. someone in toronto's war room really hates us.. that is just as controversal as the '99 goal :) thanks Hull you made us famous for something :)

the Areana in Rochester is Also a Smaller Ice Surface and I Think Washington Was prepared for that, they played the TRAP all night long..

but howmuch you wanna bet that the only reason they won is because teh team played with the old NHL rink dimensions.... washington's defense really sucks on the new ice dimensions...

That's the problem. They were complaining about the tickets not selling in Rochester and here's why people didn't go...

1. The tickets are too ****ing expensive. They wanted about $55 - $75 for a ticket to the game. That's ridiculous! Amerks are half the price.

2. They give us a crappy team that comes to town against the Sabres. Washington? Come on! :cynic:

3. They don't play as hard as they've been playing all year and lose. :boring:

Last nights game is an example of why I still won't pay to see a hockey game. The Sabres have a history of just not showing up in any given game. I can tolerate losing but when it's because of lack of effort it pisses me off.

I can tell you from being there first hand... they looked awful. Not what I wanted to see in the first game I've been to in about 3-4 years. I still had a pretty good time and as for tickets... I don't know how but I paid the price for an upper level seat behind the nets because they were the cheapest, but my tickets were 4 rows behind the glass which was nice since I've never sat that low for hockey before. Not to mention I got them $10 cheaper thanks to a discount offered to Rochester businesses.

I Got ESPN News and soon to have NHLNetwork...

As For the loss..

people need to just deal with it... no team will ever go 82 games undefeated..

Are they supposed to give the seats away in some sort of Hockey Welfare program?
