Contract talks w/McGee going well...

McGee Talks Positive: A report in the Buffalo News confirmed an earlier report that contract talks with Terrence McGee are ongoing. His agent described negotiations as positive. The talks intensified last week as the team reportedly proposed a four year extension worth around $4 Million a year on average. McGee would be a restricted free agent after this season but the Bills would be able to match any deal he gets or give him a high qualifying offer. A new deal would give him significantly more money a year earlier then he would if he waited for unrestricted free agency.

He is the Bills best all around player, IMO. The best thing is, he's YOUNG. He's only going to get better.

McGee is one of the true stars on this team. Finally one positive thing out of the front office. I think Clements is a great player but I like sigining McGee better.

Me too, he is a play maker and is turning into a very good cover corner. I hope we see him on offense a couple times this year.

Mcgee has 3 years to even be mentioned iin the same sentence as Clements. Clements haters are created because he will command top CB pay. Have you guys noticed that QB's don't throw his way that often. I hope we resign Nate.
I'll take Nate & Mcgee over Mcgahee. Make Mcgahee play another year on his low contract and draft a day 1 RB in the upcoming draft. Or get a decent under 30 free agent.. Makes sense from a financial standpoint....

i havent heard one argument suggesting that mcgee is better than clements. hurricane likes the idea of signing mcgee over clements, but im pretty sure dollars and cents contributed to that decision.

i have always been big on nate as a CB, and he really is one of the top 2 or 3 easily IMO, because you're right, no one does throw to his side anymore. but you factor in a cheaper price for mcgee, and appreciate him as being maybe the best KR the bills have ever had...
