Since when did Ron Edwards become run stopper?

I have seen several news reports stating that Ron Edwards was one of our big losses as a run stopper. I do not think Ron Edwards was very good against the run and was more of a pass rusher and disrupter than a run stopper.

I think it is opponent press trying to put a handle on why our run defense is so bad.

Ron Edwards flat out sucks....He's disgusting against the run and is an average pass rusher.

I think they drank the TD kool-aid before the season started. They're obviously not people who watched the games where Edwards played.
