Jets | Like Big Ted? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
8:08 PT: The Star Ledger reports Chicago Bears NT Ted Washington is expected to be a salary-cap casualty, and one New York Jets official said the team would be interested in him if he becomes an unrestricted free agent in March.

I doubt it would happen but it would be awesome if landed back in Buffalo.

How bad was his injury? He may not be that expensive because of it.

The Bills let him go because of 2 reasons,
1) Salary
2) Arthritis (as I remember) was detected in his ankles. His weight was putting a lot of pressure in that area. I don't know if he has taken steps to remedy this though

You're right about one thing, his weight definitely puts a lot of pressure on his ankles!!

If Ted Cottrell is still with the Jets I could see him there. Depending on his price I would love to see him back here. I would rather have Big Ted than BBBRRRUUUUUCCCEEE!

I dont know what he will be like after his injury, but he would make a superstar out of Fletch. With Cowart behind him, Cowart looked like god. Mt. Washington also made Urlacher look alot better than he looked this year. If we could bring him in it would be the pick-up of the offseason...IMHO
