    On This Date in Buffalo Bills History...

    October 31st.

    1971- The St. Louis Cardinals sneak ot of War Memorial with a 28-23 victory, as the Bills are penalized ten times.

    1987- In a move that would cement the Bills defense for the next eight years, Bill Polian acquires the rights to rookie holdout linebacker Cornelius Bennett, in a three way trade with Indianapolis and Los Angeles.

    1999- Flutie rallies the troops from a ten point deficit, to defeat the Ravens 13-10.

    2004- Paced by two Willis McGahee touchdowns, and an 87 yard kickoff return by Terrance McGee, te Bills spank the Arizona Cardinals 38-14.

    Halloween's been pretty good to us lately. Too bad we didn't play the New England Bruschiots tonight.
    Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
