Duke Preston got an NFL education early in this rookie season.
"I got fined by the league for a play in the preseason, and the guy from the NFL who makes the decision on the fines is now (former Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle) Jackie Slater," said Preston, an offensive lineman with the Buffalo Bills. "He told me how he remembered my dad (Ray Preston, the former Lawrence High legend and Chargers linebacker)."
Did it help with the fine?
