    Ask Him Yourself: Tom Donahoe

Rod Francis (Montreal, Canada): Mr. D., what will it take for you to deem this year a successful one for the Bills?
Tom Donahoe: The second half of the season is about to begin and we are excited about the upcoming games and the abilities of our team to improve. In all phases of our game, we have seen very good play at one time or another through the first eight games. The challenge for our team and our coaches is to see if we can perform on a consistent basis. Obviously we need to win some games. We are still only a game and a half out of first place in our division, and there is a lot of football left to be played. We all remember last year when we were 3-6 before we started to make our run to try and get into the playoffs. We are confident that our team can make a similar run this year. more

TD says playoffs and I just get so frustrated, man.
Dan Keefe (Falconer, NY): Mr. Donahoe, thanks for answering our questions. You've had your fair share of tough ones the last few weeks. What is the big difference between our team and a team like the Patriots? They seem to have infinite depth at every position and continue to just plug in players whenever someone gets hurt. They never seem to miss a beat. Why isn't this the case with us?
Tom Donahoe: The biggest difference between our team and a team like the Patriots is that they know how to win. The Patriots play consistent football week in and week out and part of that consistency comes from the success that they have had over the last few years. They have done a good job of developing depth on their team and have been able to handle injuries. Our roster is much younger than the Patriots roster, but we would like to do the same thing with our depth as we continue to develop our team. Consistency and knowing how to win are two key elements to the success of New England.
