One thing that did piss me off about last night's game...

Why the hell were we trying to pass the damn ball so deep in our own territory on that drive? We had the lead, we should have been content to run the ball and go three and out and punt provided they were able to stop McGahee - which they weren't and they were even more winded on D. (you all know, the drive where Colvin hit Holcombe and caused him to fumble at our 20-something yardline).

I hope Mularkey and Clements remember this next time we're trying to protect a lead that late in a game under similar circumstances.

I thought the same exact thing. Holcomb never should have been throwing that pass. So many things went wrong on that play

1. it was a bad play call
2. one of the o linemen got smoked (gandy I think)
3. Holcomb held the ball too long
4. holcomb dropped the ball when he got hit.


but the fact remains we should have been running

...and O-lineman love to run the ball. Especially late in the game. It made no sense to me either.
