    Holcomb ranked 8th

Holcomb is currently the 8th rated qb in the entire league with a more than respectable 92.0 rating.

scroll down to the 2nd last paragraph
looks like JP will have to sit the bench a little bit longer or as long as Holcomb is puting up these types of #'s

I'd leave him in there if I were the Bills. As a Fin an though, I would welcome JP back

holcomb has played quite admirably, no doubt.

but he's not the future of the franchise. when they were 1-3 there was still a decent chance to make the playoffs, but 3-5 is another story. the most you can lose the rest of the way is 2. that's a real, real longshot.

let jp suck hairy ass for most of the rest of the season so he's ready to do a carson palmer on the league's ass nest year. or so we pray.

Holcomb is a respectable player. We generally won't get embarassed with him at the helm, even when we lose - which will be fairly often. If quiet mediocrity is what we strive for, by all means let him continue to be our QB.

JP will just make mistakes and disrupt what with Holcomb will be a a nice, respectable 6-10 season.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Ohh, its the stat game. I like this one.

Guess who is 30th in the league as a team with 130.1 passing yards per game?

Guess who is 24th in the league for passing TD's per game?

Guess who is 9th in the league for the most sacks given up on offense with 20?

So as wonderful as it is to have a reliable escort to get you to the gas station around the corner, the game is actually a 250 mile race with cars that go 150 mph+.

Its the stats you didnt use that matter, sorry but we dont have anything remotely close to good enough at QB in either one at this point. But, there only 1 guy who can get better!

Please get a clue. Holcomb has done ok. Those stats you're quoting include the first 4 games when the "150 mile per hour" car was in there throwing for 75 yards per game. And this is a run first offense. The QB doesn't need to throw for big yardage- just convert 3rd downs and move the chains. If JP had done that he never would have had to sit.

On ethings for sure, KH could read AFCE defenses better than Drew could. Can't wait for JP to be able to do the same. Imagine Holcomb's brain combined w/ Jp's abilities.

Good thing for Holcomb fumbles aren't included in the passer rating. He's averaging 2 TO's a game. Them are with half of the passing attempts too.

The defenses haven't been great. Throwing nothing but 5 yard passes also helps your cause too.

Guess who is tied for the most lost fumbles by a QB in the league?

Guess who is 3rd in total fumbles behind Drew Bledsoe for QB's?

That would be Holcomb...in half of the pass attempts. If you took that over a full season he would have over 30 fumbles.

You can blame Holcomb for the fumbles but if you looked at the replays when he's fumbled you'd realize line play is the real culprit.
