Bills Deliver Bye Week Blues
Rather than focus on what happened Sunday in New England, let’s just simplify the reality of the 2005 Bills. The game against the Patriots was just another example of how far the Bills franchise is from being a legitimate contender in the National Football League.
It’s now 43 losses and just 29 wins since the beginning of 2001. But who’s counting? Tom Donahoe was brought here that year to resurrect a falling franchise. He was not only named General Manager in 2001, but owner Ralph C. Wilson decided to step aside as President and also gave Donahoe that title. That’s serious power.
