Literally for the first time since the Buffalo Bills lost the AFC championship game against the Bengals in ‘89, I felt like crying. Why would they do that? Why would they come out and deviate from the script. I was prepared for the 1st quarter collapse. I was ready for some desperation/cutsie play in the 2nd quarter that completely failed. I was ready for Theisman and company to ride the Bruschi story and lay praise on Brady all day. I was ready to turn the game off after a critical interception in the 3rd quarter. I was ready to come back to the TV four minutes later to see if some miracle occurred and be surprised that JP was in and that the score was 24-3 Patriots. Why did you make me a believer?
