AFC EAST
New England is not as good at the moment as they were previously.* The biggest disappointment, though, has been the Jets.* The team of the future could be Miami.* Eventually, Nick Saban will have all the parts to the puzzle put together.* Right now, Miami has an effective RB combination in Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown.* The mystery in the division is Buffalo.* They look like a playoff team right now, but at other times they have looked far from it.

I dont consider the season over until we lose our 8th game. I really think 9-7 could and should win this divison.

In 4 of the 5 losses we had chances to win. We really are a mystery as to how far we can go. If Kelly can continue his good play and the D can seal it up, we may make it to 9-7. That would win the division. I really don't see NYJ or Miami making any runs and NE is one injured Tom from a losing season. Indy is not going to kiss Tom tomorrow, they are planning to smash him. He maybe the only thing holding them back this year and will take care of him tomorrow.

he said we look like a playoff team. Playoff teams aren't last in the league in rushing. Playoff teams don't throw passes on 3rd and 2. Playoff teams don't throw 1 yard passes on 4th and 7. Playoff teams don't give up at the end of games like we did against the Raiders. Playoff teams don't lose to the Raiders and Saints. Need I continue?

Playoff teams beat divisional foes. Playoff teams stop the pass. Playoff teams have 1,500 yard running backs. Playoff teams have a veteran QB w/ a 92% rating. Playoff teams have great special teams. Playoff teams bench players that don't listen or cannot play their position properly.

not if the guy playing behind them is Justin Bannan. Playoff teams keep their best players on the field.

Think Philly makes it? I do, do you know why? You win as a team, you die as a team. Philly told TO his conduct is detrimental to the team. The day you are not a team, (like the bickering bills), bad things happen.
P.S. Last year when Pat's Big ass sat, it lit a fire under the Bills. We are 1 game out tuesday morning. PREPARE.

Philly might be the 3rd best team in their division this year. They won't be in the playoffs.

and that was Sam Adams that got benched last year, not Pat.

no doubt...we have a veteran QB making rookie mistakes that cost us games and a defense that couldn't stop a high school team from gaining 100 yards on the ground

You think we can win 6 of these 8 games?

We had the easy part of the schedule and we screwed up, we lost to the Saints and Raiders. No way in hell can we win 6 of these games, it'll be tough to win half of them.

If's mean nothing. Wins do and that's something we're not doing.

When we can beat some good teams then you can bring up this possibility.

this thread should be moved to the science fiction forum(if there is one). -to the guy that said the division can be won with a 9-7 record, how can that be when the pats are going to win atleast 11 games and the bills are clearly heading for a 7 or 8 win season because of spikes being gone and the age of some of there better players is getting up there.plus, nobody had any idea that lee evans was going to be a bust in his second season. or that willis mcgahee cannot break a long run.
dolphins have no chance. there secondary is so weak it let MICHAEL(I CANT THROW A FOOTBALL) VICK shred there defense open with his arm. the worst throwing qb in the league(next to jp losman of course)

Evans a bust? Let's at least throw him the ball before coming to that conclusion. I haven't seen his name called much at all.

I really think the Bills could be the team to win the AFC east. We are over critical because we are Bills fans who are used to being disappointed. But looking at things there is a good chance that NE struggles to finish at .500 just as much as we will. It's not really realistic for people to assume the Pats are going to win out just because they are the Pats. The nicest thing about our remaining schedule is we get shots at 4 good teams coming to our house...and at least 2 of the four road games are against weaker teams. NE is kind of on the hotseat to take advantage of an opportunity for separation tonight against the best team in the league. Next week they have to go to Miami. I am not so sure that NE is going to win all of the games they are "supposed" to win just like we haven't been able to get over the hump of beating above average teams. We're just going to have to wait and see how it plays out and I think anyone that is ready to throw in the towel is making a mistake. Even if you only turn things like this around 1 - 1000 times I wouldn't want to be responsible for throwing away that one time of finding success because I was a quitter.

Almost perfect. I would just add, "immobile, fumble-prone, and weak-armed" to your description of Holcomb.

The Pats are going to win the division because that's the way the NFL wants it.

If tonights game is close see which way the calls go at the end. See who gets called for offensive PI, holding, block in the back calls. Chances are it will be the colts.

If the Pats are victims of these calls then it's definitely the Colts year.

People look at our schedule but fail to see the sched of the rest of the AFCE teams. There is a great chance we can go 5-1 in the division. We can beat the Pats at home and a "chance" to even sweep the fins and jets. Rather than take shot at it, some people here want to ruin that chance :shakeno:
