When it comes to weather minus the snow KC is just as bad if not worse than Buffalo.

I lived just across the state in Hannibal MO, and the extremes in weather are much greater in the midwest.

Hotter in summer, colder in winter and not a tree from Colarado to Ohio to stop the wind.
