Tom Clements is in his second year.
He is installing an offensive system and hasn't had his top 2 picks due to injury.
I believe that he is making real progress but doesn't have all the pieces in place.
I won't make excuses for not putting points on the board and working with the players he has. He needs to do a better job of second half adjustments.
What I'm thinking is that the offense is very close to being very effective. I've seen offenses on the verge before, both here and on other teams, and this looks like one of them.
Any thoughts? (Without turning this into yet another Holcomb vs. JP thread.)
