So this is what it's come to.

Buffalo Bills right tackle Mike Williams, the fourth overall pick in the 2002 draft, their highest selection since Bruce Smith in 1985, the highest paid player in club history, is now a left guard.

Worse, he may not even be one of the team's five best offensive linemen anymore. Ouch, that hurts.

Good find Phil. Yet, frighteningly true. Williams is a big teddy bear. All soft (read: easily pushed around) and Cuddly (read: holding penalties will ensue) and someone you want to give to your kids for their birthday (read: he's not scaring anyone on the D-line). That's exactly what I want from my 8 million dollar top five pick (read: sarcasm). This saga just gets better and better, doesn't it? :shakeno:

It doesn't really matter who starts on Sunday because none of it's good for the Bills, who wind up with either the highest-paid guard in the NFL in Williams at $7 million a year or one of the highest-paid backups in Anderson at $1.7 million.

Dump him.

And take TD with him.

Well even the GREAT John Butler made a few HUGE screw ups during his tenure. Erik Flowers and Rob Johnson? Let us suppose that Williams turns out to be be a pretty good guard and then accepts a salary cut when the year is over. How would you feel about it then?
