the Bills scored a TD on that same exact play in Seattle last year- it was either 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1- Bledsoe faked the sneak, took a step back and threw a swing pass to McGahee who ran 20+ yards for the score.Originally posted by McGahee420
Some key differences- Seattle had all 11 guys on the LOS and no one in the flats to stop the pass. It was also on Seattle's 20 yard line or so instead of in our own territory. The play never should have been called in the first place, and Holcomb should have audibled when he saw their guy lined up in the flats. I think KC had the play scouted and was ready for it.
Trick plays are only tricks the first time because they rely on the element of surprise.Comment
