While I would agree that Urlacher is an excellent player, You also have to consider that he has Big Ted and Traylor in from of him. For my money I would take Ray Lewis. Has all the physical tools and always has his defensive mates ready to go.

Listen, I could give a damn about what has happened in the past. Lewis plays with a tenacity that is unmatched by any player in the NFL.

I agree that his character may not be perfect, but this guy goes balls to the wall every single game, which is more than you can say for alot of the players in the league.
