I wanted to see if any of your members had a copy of a VHS tape of the Bills vs. Miami game that was played on Sept. 7, 1980. We beat Miami 17-7 to snap the longest losing streak (Team vs. Team) in the NFL. I had 3 interceptions in the game.

Can anyone help him out??

Dunno. It's a famous-enough game that someone has to have it in some form I would think.

sounds like something that could have been played on ESPN Classic :idunno:

Wasn't he the same guy who later played for the Chargers and intercepted Joe Ferguson in that playoff game?

what about contacting the bills themselves?? i can only assume that they have an extensive library of film and would be more than willing to help out an alumni

I don't think so. I think his entire career was in Buffalo.

BIllsology is his best hope. Furthest back I have is a fins-bills game from 81.

If anyone has it, they could probably make mint in bootleg sales!

I agree. Somehow I'm not sure if I believe he's who he says he is.

I saw that game recap on the NFL channel (DirecTV) in the Spring last year. If he is an ex player, he should use some of his contacts to get a copy from them. I'm sure if he called the Bills alumni representitive they would be able to hunt it down.

He was pretty good, but had a short career due to injury. He had nice size for a free safety.

Yeah, I'm Jeff Nixon too, and I need a $20 from all of you. :snicker2:

I dunno...it would seem to be kinda random to impersonate a guy like Nixon.

EXACTLY! If he couldn't get it from family or his former team or team mates, or the NFL, it's hard for me to believe this is ligitimate.
Anyway, I'm the real Jeff Nixon, and your $20 can be forwarded to im4bflo.:funny:

I don't think he'll have any luck finding a tape of the game but if he'll settle for some memorbilia he could probably find a piece of the goalposts from that game somewhere out there.

He should have a gameball if he made those picks, ya think?
