Donovan McNabb sits on the bench after throwing an interception that was returned 46 yards for interception by the Cowboys to win Monday night

PHILADELPHIA - Donovan McNabb will miss Philadelphia’s game against the New York Giants on Sunday with a groin injury.
Mike McMahon, who had been the third-string quarterback, will get the start over backup Koy Detmer.
McNabb’s status beyond this week is uncertain. He’ll see a specialist Thursday. McNabb has played through several injuries this season, including a sports hernia that will require surgery.

wow- so in one play, they turned the ball over, lost the game to their division rivals, and lost their starting QB for at least the game but possibly the year.

Maybe now Andy Reid will learn to RUN when protecting a lead.

Talk about the Madden cover curse. McNabb gets put on the cover of Madden and the whole team is having problems. If this is not a sign of the Madden cover curse than I do not know what is.

I'm telling ya. I hope a bill never decides to get on that cover, unless they want to take a shot at breaking that curse.

I don't wish any injury on Brady but if he decided to go smoke weed in nepal I would support his decision.

LOL
Although I can hear it now, not only did Tedy B survive a hole in his heart, but he is now going to save us all from the Madden curse...
I can almost hear those clowns on ESPN:

Theisman: Let me say this to the Madden curse, curse if I was you I would run, get away as fast as you can because Bruschi is coming and he's coming for you, he won't stop until he has saved us all...blah blah blah

Urghhh

Doctor tells McNabb to have surgery
Operation for sports hernia would end Eagle quarterback's season
The Associated Press
Updated: 3:25 p.m. ET Nov. 17, 2005

PHILADELPHIA - Donovan McNabb’s next important decision won’t be calling an audible at the line of scrimmage.
McNabb was told Thursday to have surgery for a sports hernia that probably would end his season. The Eagles’ quarterback is considering his options. It’s likely he’ll seek other opinions before making a final decision.
Mike McMahon, who had been the third-string quarterback, will start Philadelphia’s game against the New York Giants on Sunday. The struggling Eagles already are without star receiver Terrell Owens, who was suspended four games and told not to return to the team last week.

Ouch indeed. He was the starting QB on my fantasy team. Lets go Jake Plummer from here on out!
