It figures that a majority of the scoring has taken place by the time I get off of work! :rage:

At least there quite a few scrums taking place. Why can't Drury take a hit and just deal with it? That penalty he took was foolish.

It's always good to watch Alexander "The Great", as well. It's really too bad he doesn't get the same amount of hype that Sidney does, since I truly believe Ovechkin is the better pure scorer. Time will tell, but I'll still hold out that he'll win the Calder.

In a nutshell, he beat the living $#!t out of Thomas Vanek, who didn't even get a punch in. I'm not sure whether it was because he couldn't or just didn't want to. Neither situation would surprise me.

Well, I was at the game....the play was blown offsides....Witt for some reason started shoving Vanek, vanek slashed him lightly....then Witt gave him a left hook that landed dead on...taking vanek to the ground...then all hell broke loose and pretty much the craps beat on us for a bit until the refs regained control....

Thanks to both JD & buffalofan19 for the summary of the "Witt Incident". I figured he must've done something fairly bad, to be penalized so damn much. From what I did get time to watch tonight, it appeared that things were testy all night long!

He pretty much is a hockey god, and this in just 20 games. I've said it before (My "man love" for Ovechkin is probably as heralded on this board as your hatred for him---Way to focus on that incident, instead of the offense he provided tonight, Skate! :bighug: )---Crosby is a great player, and will thrive in the NHL. He will do many great things while playing in this league. But Ovechkin is a pure goal scorer, and he continues to fly under the radar of many fans, as well as the "brass" of the NHL. He has 15 goals in only 20 games this season. That's nearly 1 goal per game. This all while playing for a Caps team that actually makes Buffalo's offense look like Vancouver. I believe that Ovechkin can win the Calder, as long as it isn't a close vote. I believe if it is a close race at the end of the season, Crosby will get the nod, if only to continue the hype machine (Much like many of believed there was a "conspiracy" to give the Rags the 1st pick in the lottery this preseason, I'm suggesting that the league would do something similar in Calder voting).
Of course, my mention of Ovechkin being underpromoted could apply to a few other star rookies who aren't getting much attention, other than by hockey hardcores: Dion Phaneuf, Marek Svatos, Thomas Vanek, and Alexander Steen.

That sucks. I haven't had that problem yet. It may take me 3 or 4 tries to upload my videos successfully, but none have been deleted, and I have around 15 or 16 now (I have a few Bills ones too that I made for my own amusement). What sucks about this new host of yours is that I don't think I can download off of it, whereas with Putfile I can. Is there a way to download these flash files?
