..that the loss of pat williams has had a dramatic effect on how we fill the gaps against the run. but its more than that. at some point, from the time we finished last season until this season, our defense just flat out forgot how to tackle. its embarrasing.

The Cowboys had a similar burp- in 2003 they were #1, 2004 they stunk, and they are back in good form this season, with some- but not wholesale- changes.

Guys, Pat Williams was not Tedy Bruschi, we'd still be in a similar hole with him right now then we are without him. Sure, he would help, but, our defense has alot more problems then just at defensive tackle.
