    Looking ahead to the Panthers

They looked AWFUL vs the Bears. If the weather is like it was vs the Chefs, I think the Bills might have a chance.

I ALMOST typed this with a straight face.

    Prediction Panthers 73 Bills 2

No, a good blizzard with 40 mph winds and 3 feet of snow might actually keep us within a couple of touchdowns.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

      hahahaha

I say Panthers 72, Bills 7. Our TD will come on a kickoff return- our D line can't possibly get enough pressure to score a safety.

Seriously, though, this is a different team at home than it is on the road. If the weather is bad enough to disrupt the passing game, Steve Smith will be a non-factor and it will force our coaches to run the ball, which means we may stand a chance.

Julius Peppers is going to have a field day- JP better be ready to run.

I am not sure how much different we will be after yesterday, Confidence is waining. Tom Donahoe has put a pathetic product on the field. We as fans deserve more than this. He needs to stepdown. Or since that will never happen, Mr. Wilson needs outside pressure to fire Donahoe.

Re: Looking ahead to the Panthers

Firing TD now is not going to solve anything this season. The TD issue is for january 2nd and not November. Our team needs to play with some pride and respect. The lame effort yesterday was just plain embarrassing to the entire organization and to each one of us.

I don't know how Mularkey can fire the boys up but he needs to do it for this week. We are a different team at home, I find it hard to say but we do have a chance this weekend.

Im debating whether i should use my birthday wish on the Bills, or my fantasy team. I turn 21 on Sunday and im going to the game, lol i hope they win. But since i would be 21 i can go to the bar, or casino afterwards if they lose and get hammered. My Prediction Carolina 58, bills 13. Steve Smith will have 420 yards, and 6 tds.

Re: Looking ahead to the Panthers

It will be interesting to see Steve Smith against Clements. If Clements has another bad week it could cost him millions. Smith catches everything thrown at him. The thing is he is there only consistant WR.
The Panthers have not been effective running the ball at all this year so a blustery day would definitely help. The Panthers leading tackler, Dan Morgan, was carted off from the field yesterday with an ankle injury so that bodes well for WM and company. The key will be to establish the run because I don't want to see the Bills forced to pass and have to pass protect Peppers.
The Panthers rarely have two bad weeks in a row. I think the Panthers will win 27-13.

                    Panthers 31 Bills 10.

Losman 12 of 30 For 97 yards, 0 TDs 3 INTs, sacked 7 times. 3 by Peppers. 1 Fumble. May even fake a injury to get away from hearing BOOOOOOO from the 12th man.

                    McGahee 12 rushes 54 yards 1 TD.

                    Moulds 2 catches 16 yards.
                    Evans 3 catchs 40 yards
                    Reed 6 catches 32 yards

i think if the weather is bad and the wind is blowing we might stand a chance. But if its not and Nate has a game like he did yesterday we are in BIG trouble. I also hope for a big day for Willis so people will get off his back. I realize that he isn't doing well but i think they give up on him to early in the play calling.

Good post, and agreed. We are a different team at home, I think we stand a chance hosting the panthers.
