Seahawks Ask Permission to Talk to Modrak

Empire Sports and WNSA beat reporter Jeff Morrison has learned that the Buffalo Bills have granted the Seattle Seahawks permission to speak to Tom Modrak about the GM position. Modrak had spoken with the Jacksonville Jaguars for a similar position about a week ago, but reports have that job going to Baltimore Ravens scouting director Phil Savage.

I'm just amazed it took them this long to ask. I had him penciled in as their new GM as soon as Holmgren was demoted.
