Well I said I wouldn't be going to any games this year and I was wrong. I will be in attendance tonight.

That was a fast 1st period. Oh by the way the Sabres pissed me off by wearing the Blue & Gold sweaters out on to the ice during the pregame ceremonies & then taking them off before the game started.

Even in the "loss" (If you count losing to a parlor trick a loss), Buffalo did pretty damn good tonight. They couldn't shut down the Rags' only scoring line completely, but they stopped them from doing even more damage. Noronen was stellar, and kept Buffalo in this game. The goals for Buffalo were hard earned. I must tip the hat to Nylander's goal---That was a Hell of a shot!

It's too bad that the Rangers scored on every SO goal, but hey, those are the breaks. And as for Chris "The new Chris Gratton" Drury---WTF was with that SO shot? Did he not watch his first 2 teammates and how they blew by Weekes? I guess not, since he took a weak shot on Weekes. :rage:

Same here. It's a damn shame they didn't wear them for the game, considering the historical ties. Perhaps they'll do so for LaFontaine's game......

How are the Rangers winning games. The Sabres totally outplayed them. Is that one line doing all the scoring. I cannot believe the Sabres lost that game.

Noronen made the save of the week last night. Biron will start tonight.

Yep, they sure are. But the sad thing is, even though that is the case, no one is stopping them. They netted both of the goals last night, against Buffalo. That shot by Nylander was great!

first off.... where are all those past Noronen haters that dissed him after that ottawa game where no one had the right to say anything about him... did u see that damn save, good lord!

secondly... does anyone know the extent of Mika's injury cuz now we have to use Biron again , we definently coulda won that SO if it was Mika.

I honestly don't think the Sabres win that shootout with either Biron or Noronen in goal. Jagr, Straka, and Nylander are better breakaway players than pretty much anybody the Sabres have. The Rangers would have scored on all three of those regardless IMO. Call me a downer, but I was really hoping not to go to a shootout even before overtime started. The Sabres are outmatched there no matter how you look at it.
