Poor bastard. I hope he is smart enough to don some extra padding this game because he is going to spend an awful lot of time on the ground.

I can't fathom why our coach would even contemplate not playing JP the rest of the year! If I see Holcombe starting while JP is healthy, I might choke my cat.

what in the hell???? jp is starting?? is mularkey trying to lose games on PURPOSE? actually you know what,i think mularkey is trying to lose these games on purpose so they can be in the sweepstakes for the usc qb in the draft. a qb for the future is the first thing this bills team needs.

It depends who's left on the board when its the Bills turn to pick. I rather see the Bills get a DE/DT then a QB. But if Leinart is still on the board when the Bills pick they do have to pick him.

                    1. Holcomb sucked in the 2nd half against the Pats and before he got injured against KC.
                    2. Losman played well against KC and did about as well as he could against SD given that he had no time to throw- there's no way that loss can be blamed on him at all. He was the only guy that looked like he was trying out there.
                    3. Holcomb's slow, Losman's fast. He's a better match for Carolina's stud D-line.
                    4. Losman's supposedly the future. Our season's over. Might as well get him the reps.

And Leinart has "bust" written all over him. USC is basically an all-star cast that plays chump teams. In the rare occasion that USC faces a quality opponent (like ND), Leinart looks average at best. Reggie Bush carries that team.

The draft is always a crap shoot, but QB's are the LEAST predictable position by far. If Losman isn't the answer, I'd just as soon start Holcomb or trade for a vet and use the pick to address DL and OL.

                        read my last post.

Besides we have to face the facts- this season is over. If we don't get JP ready, next season's gonna look the same way.

good point- with our O line- there's a good chance he could get killed back there. Unfortunately injuries are part of the game- I think they have to risk it and try to get JP ready for next year.

Yes finally! Put J.P. in and stick with him the rest of the season.
