TAMPA - Joe Jurevicius' status for Sunday's NFC Championship Game became uncertain Thursday when a family matter forced the Bucs wide receiver to miss his second consecutive day of practice.
Jurevicius' wife, Meagan, gave birth to the couple's first child this week. The child, due to be born in February, is experiencing health complications, Bucs officials said.

        UPDATE

Jurevicius arrives in Philly; expected to play

Jurevicius missed practice this week to attend to his new-born child, which is experiencing health complications after being born a month prematurely. He is expected to play on Sunday. If Jurevicius is unavailable to play, Karl Williams will move up to the third receiver role and Reggie Barlow will be activated for the third time this season.
