Bills | Team hoping Clements can contain S. Smith
Fri, 25 Nov 2005 19:13:45 -0800
John Wawrow, of the Associated Press, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/9/nfl">Buffalo Bills are relying on CB Nate Clements (http://www.kffl.com/player/167/nfl) to shut down Carolina Panthers (http://www.kffl.com/team/10/nfl) WR Steve Smith (http://www.kffl.com/player/288/nfl) during their Week 12 game. Clements is coming off one of the worse games of his career last week. "I can't wait," Clements said, looking ahead to facing Smith, who's emerged as the NFL (http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl)'s leading receiver. "To be the best, you have to beat the best. He's the top receiver in this league and I feel like I'm the top corner in this league. So it's definitely going to be a challenge. And I'm definitely excited and looking forward to it."
He has been vocal and again makes comments about a top WR. Lets see if he steps up to the plate and gets it done. Should be fun.
If he plays big and silences Steve (I wish you were a Bill) Smith, I say pay him the Money!!!!!
Who in the hell would we replace him with? TD im SURE thinks highly or Jabari Queer and he would love to tell you that, but the rest of us intrelligent humans know that replacing Clements will be as tough as it gets. Seriously, who the hell would we get?
Id say the draft but I want best player available and none of the top corners have top speed, i like speed at corner. I want us to get the best available, resign Clements.
