It feels damn good to be able to sit and enjoy an entire game, for once (Instead of watching it on tape, after I get off of work late). :cloud9:

Even as poor a team as Washington is overall, they still play their asses off. What a hit by Ovechkin. This kid plays tough on 'O', and isn't afraid to get physical. It's still too bad Buffalo wasn't worse a few years back, so they could've gotten him. :peace:

Dammit!
I'll Find away to get the highlights,

I'll Look to ESPN News, I Doubt they'll have them, comcast isn covering it, so.. I know its on Center Ice though,.. But i dint pay for the subscription, its way too high, they inflated it because they didnt have a season last year...

also...

I can get the Footage from NHL.com and save it :p

That's what I usually do when I don't get your PVR. I use WMR recorder though. If you know of a way to download them directly that would be cool.

It was actually $10 cheaper for us this year during the "Early Bird" period than the last season, Skate. We paid $139 for the "Early Bird" price the last time there was a season, compared to $129 this time out. :peace:

I have the trial version which allows you to record for 2 minutes at a time, and then automatically stops. I got it last December, but I can't remember from where. If you let the video you want to record get to a high enough kbps count (like 2500, which is hard to get to), you can get about 3 minutes of footage.

EDIT: I think this is where I got mine: http://www.wmrecorder.com/demo.htm

Thank the hockey gods for the crossbar, or else this game would've gone to OT. Ovechkin had that goal, but the crossbar/left post wasn't having any of it. :bighug:

Aside from the complete collapse in their own defensive zone in that last 1:30, Buffalo deserves this win. Congrats to the team! :scooter:

Buffalo's Defense was great, except for the fore mentioned 1:30. Biron was only test once or twice. He robbed his own brother.

good game, it was nice to go straight from a depressing bills game to a good Sabres game!

I just recorded the highlights off nhl.com. It's the MSG feed (Rick's voice) but the scoreboard font in the top left corner of the screen is that of Comcast's. I wonder if Comcast actually played the game but on an alternate channel.

According to Comcast, in my Area NFL Means More than NHL
