Since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, the longest playoff droughts (2 or more consecutive non-playoff appearances) for the Bills are as follows:
2000-2005: 6 seasons, 3 coaches
1982-1987: 6 seasons, 5 coaches
1975-1979: 5 seasons, 3 coaches
1970-1973: 4 seasons, 3 coaches
I don't know what the GM changes were doing those periods but it would be interesting to know.
Bottom line: we are currently tied for the worst non-playoff streak in the team's history. It is time to clean house, starting from the top.
Rather than type the first move, just read my sig. :D
