All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

With Crowell showing that he can play I could see a huge advantage to moving to the 3-4 defense. Spikes - Crowell - Fletcher - Posey at LB. Get a real DT and a DE in free agency...then move Schobel over to the LDE position...Kelsay makes a great back up and Denny gets cut...
I think it is easier to get 2 DL to rebuild the line than get 3.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
You need a big physical dt-nt first off .. then two big physical de's .. which we don't have .. then u need big lb's especially in the middle ...which we also don't have .. so why should we go to the 3-4 again ?????? That's alot to ask for in fa ....
Kelsay and Bannan rotating at LDE
Schobel and Denney rotate at RDE
Posey-Fletcher-Spikes-Crowell at the starting LB spots
Helmetguy and I were discussing this on the way home from San Diego last week
But we don't have a single DT on the roster who would be a good fit at NT in the 3-4 so we'd need to get at least 2 good NTs and a couple more backups at LB
As far as Posey sucking, he was pretty good in a 3-4 in Houston but, just as I've pointed out his entire time in Buffalo, it's just like Bryce Paup...he's not going to put up numbers at SLB in a 4-3 the way he did at SOLB in a 3-4
it's not just numbers, Phil. When does he make tackles? When does he make big hits? When is he around the ball? There have been entire games where the announcers don't call his name at all, and he's on the field for virtually every defensive play.

Ya. It's a good theory - one that I've gone over before. We would have to draft like Dallas did last year, get a DT in free agency, get a back up MLB, and on top of all that, we would have to get a DC who knows how to run the 3-4.

or a DC who knows how to run a D period. That would be nice.
