:penalty: on BUF-A.Crowell, Face Mask (15 Yards), 1 yard, enforced at BUF 2 - No Play.

phantom penalty. They didn't have a good shot of it, but it looked to me like crowell's hand was on the pads below the facemask. And I know it's still a penalty, but it was nowhere near the ball.

The Refs were pretty even with the calls until the 4th qtr. Then the big calls went against us

we got the break of the game when they whistled the roscoe kick return down by contact.

I'll have to wait til I see the tape...Carey is usually one of the better refs in the league

I hate to break it to you guys, but I saw his hand on the face mask on the replay. Was it a 15 yard variety? Who knows, but that doesn't matter, because they were on the 5 yard line. Let's all quit whining about a call, we are starting to sound like Jets fans. One call did not cost the Bills the game.

I agree with Forward Lateral. We are not losing these games due to the refs. We are losing because the Bills were outplayed. Our running game sucked and Carolina had 7 in the box for a good chunk of the game.

actually it DOES matter. a 15 yard is an automatic 1st down. 5 yards isn't- only a first down if it gives them the yardage. A 5-yarder would have been half the distance to the goal, replay 3rd down. They would have gotten one more chance instead of 3.
