I thought Briere had a hip injury, not an abdominal strain.

Do you purposely spell Pomminville with a G in it?

Also, Marc Andre Fleury will start tonight for the Pens. Super Mario is expected to play.

Good game, Buffalo. My major complaint was all the bullcrap penalty calling. I'm all for calling penalties if they're there, but those final 2 penalties called were imaginary. Murley did not get held (He dove), and the call on Poapst near the end of the 3rd was the dreaded NHL "make up" call, to give back to Buffalo since they made a bad call against Kalinin. Aside from that, Biron was great in net, and Kotalik was again the savior from the point on the PP. Now that's how you score on a PP. If only the Pens could ever gel on their PP, they'd be unstoppable.

I liked how Mike Robitaille pointed that very point out on the Shootout. They have talent as scary as the dynasty Oilers, who had Kurri, Gretzky, Messier, and Coffey. If only Pittsburgh's guys could get it together, they'd have lit the scoreboard up, with their 9 chances. With guys like Lemieux, Crosby, Palffy, Malone, Recchi, and LeClair (Not to mention their other rookie sensation, Ryan Whitney), they should be racking up PP goals like no tomorrow. If they ever did, watch out. Of course, with their piss-poor "defense", they'd always have high scoring games.

To add to your score, man:

Connolly 3rd Period

Watch LeClair go from corner after dishing off
Watch LeClair get pass back
Watch LeClair take point blank shot on Biron
Hang head in shame

It's funny how he can go from flashes of brilliance during these first few months, to that sort of crap tonight.

But hey---It was a win! :scooter:

Honestly, I don't think Sabres deserved to win this game. Fluery let some easy goals in.

A win is a win.. their goalie sucks, ours did pretty good.... they hit the post a few times but other than that i thought it was a good game.. and with the injuries we have to the team its always great to win games, especially on the road.
