You have been invited to join BillsZone's Pro Football Pick'em.

In order to join the group, just go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem , click the Sign Up Now! button and choose to Join a Private Group. Then, when prompted, enter the following information...

Password: zoner

We will send you a confirmation with further details once you have completed the registration process.

BTW, we are not using a spread system. It's a straight up system, but you give different weights to each pick, so if you feel strongly about a certain game, make it worth more points than a game you are unsure of.

Should be a blast!

Maybe they just don't like me or something, but I won it last year, and not a single mention of it was made - not a 'congratulations', not an email, not a post on the boards... How lame is that?

I brought that up with them several times on the board. They are extremely cliquee on there. My suggestions were met with sarcastic responses. Oh well.

I guess you weren't part of their in crowd.

Are they ranked 1 for least likely to advance or 16 as the worse case scenario. 1 being my absolute best pick?

Is it ranked 1 being best pick, to 16, being the worst, or the other way around. 16 being best, etc?

I'm pretty sure you give the higher number to the pick you think is more likely to come out.

BF1 is right. Think of them as points - if you pick game 'X' correctly and have assigned 16 to it, you get 16 points, etc.

Unfortunately the Yahoo pick'em was replaced by the Billszone one linked off the front page. Are any of you going to do both and not abandon the Yahoo one?

I hope so.. The Zone pick'em completely plays against my strengths by including a spread and not using that ranking system.
