He's the guy who has cost the Bills a minimum of 3 games this year. Today was simply disgusting. Last week was pathetic yet expected. The Pats game was almost as painful as todays. When your team enters the 4th quarter with the lead, any sized lead, it becomes the D's responsibility to hold field position and control the clock. What the F is Chris Chambers doing wide open down the middle of the field with 1:40 left? The guy had burned the D ALL freakin day yet he was ignored at the most critical point in the game. A six point lead and no timeouts for the opposition? There should be 4 guys on him at this point in the game with at least one defender playing 30 yards deep prior to the snap. Gray has obviously not learned from his mistakes of the past. Milloy and Vincent are either completely over the hill or totally misused. Those two "leaders" get abused week in and week out nowadays. Pass rush or no pass rush, those two are are least responsible for the simple task of preventing completed bombs to the best receiver of the team who is down by six with no timeouts and 1:40 left. Revisit those 3 losses and there's one thing in common. The opposition successfully completed deep passes in the 4th qrtr when the Bills KNEW they were desperate and HAD to throw deep. That's a major coaching malfunction. IMO the difference between 7-5 and 4-8 is Jerry Gray. He has somehow been able to quietly avoid much direct criticism this year.

Especially when you consider we beat the hell out of the starting QB with blitz packages, then the cold QB comes in off the bench and we drop back into zone coverage and stop pressuring the QB.
When everyone was talking about how great Gray was last year I said he sucked. He's not head coach material and he's a stupid defensive coordinator. He's been riding the talent the last few years.

Speaking of last year, IMO Gray is the guy who cost the Bills the playoffs. Remember the opener against Jacksonville? Same situation as the 3 devestating losses this year. He can't close it out with the lead late in the game. Mularkey probably wanted him gone but we all know it's not his decision. He's just a puppet.

Last week was another example. The defense was given a 9-6 lead and blew it at the end. :sigh:
