All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
****ing sucks. He has speed and some moves, but he lacks the size and strength to break tackles. If the D grabs him by the shoulder, he goes down every time. Combine that with his poor decision-making skills and he's a waste of a draft pick.
He looked fine to me(besides the muffed punt). How many receivers are big tackle breakers. The guy has tons of speed. He will never be a #1 receiver but seems to me to be a Don Beebe type player(3rd receiver that is a deep threat)

The guy has Josh Reed written all over him.
He is nothing like Josh Reed. Reed has size and strength, but no speed. Parrish has speed, but no size or strength. He is also a rookie who missed all of trainign camp and the pre-season.
A guy is not a waste of a draft pick after 1/2 of a season. Remember how bad Moulds was his rookie season?
Peerless was the same way, most the guys with elite speed cant break tackles.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
People forget that good coaching is often the key to winning close games (Getting the most out of your players, making adjustments, and game-planning). With that being said, we could have easily won the NE game, Atlanta game, Carolina game, and this Miami game. I fault the coaching staff primarily for losing those games.
Our record? It would be 8-4 right now, on top of the division.
We have some holes, but every player on this team does not suck. I have defended London Fletcher while people were gettin on him the past month. He doesn't have a brick wall in front of him, and he's been the best player on defense yet again against Miami.
When your scheme is trash, don't expect players to buy into it. Especially not the vets.
This thread is stupid. He's a rookie who is starting. Enough said. He is a rookie who is going to make some rookie mistakes. Hard to add bulk when you can't lift weights with a surgically repaired wrist.
Guaranteed this kid comes into training camp 15 pounds heavier and will play great for us. How many pro games has he played in? 3 or 4?!
Give the guy a break. Caught more balls than Moulds.
I don't expect him to be able to bowl over guys like Willis does- just to be able to fight off an arm tackle from a 180 lb defensive back. Is that too much to ask?
If the guy isn't in wide open field he gets dropped immediately.
And I don't know why people give rookies so many breaks on fundamentals. The rules for handling a punt and managing the clock are the same at any level of football. Rookie or not, there's no excuse for trying to shoestring catch a punt on the fly, or running laterally like a moron while time ticks off the clock (like he did against NE). Asking a rookie read complicated defenses and run the proper hot route is one thing- asking him to properly handle a punt is an entirely different story.
