All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Now that the Bills are out of it (cough, cough), I'm hoping that it is the Giants and the Colts. It's the most intriguing story possible out of all the other combos IMO.
It would be good to see two city's that have never seen their teams in the SB get in (and a franchise that's never been there - Seattle). Plus I want the Colts to go undefeated to end the reign of the most annoying record-holders in the NFL.
48-21? That was a lame SB IMO. I think the backstory of the Manning brothers plus the fact they both have pretty balanced teams would make for a more exciting game. If they play I would bet Indy of course, but I think it would be a pretty close game until the 4th quarter.
Indy and Chicago.
Best O vs. Best D.
Repeat of Oakland and Tampa.
I agree. I too like this matchup best. However, I doubt that it would be as lame as Oakland -vs- Tampa. If you remember, Tampa (Gruden) had Oakland's playbook, and Oakland (Callahan) was too damn ignorant to change anything in it, almost sounds like something Mularkey would do. To me it was one of the most pathetic games ever and I doubt the Indy-Chi matchup would be lame. We're talking defensive slug fest baby. I like it. I like it a-lot.
I hope the Colts go undefeated and win the Super Bowl. That way we don't have to hear how the 72 Dolphins are celebrating their undefeated season every year.
And the Colts accomplishment would be 100% greater then what the Dolphins accomplished, since the Colts will have played 2 more games.
