I'm bumping this from another thread, not because I like to hear myself speak, but because I'd some input..

I'm not sure Modrak is the answer at GM either.. I keep hearing how he 'built' the Eagles, and I sorta went along with that, until earlier today, I was looking at his drafts in Philly, in '99, '00, and '01.. And, well, they kinda stunk.. Outside of drafting McNabb, Corey Simon, and a couple other *decent* players, was he successful grabbing talent through FA?

A couple of undeniable things he has going for him is that the team was 3-13 his first season, and 11-5 two seasons later, and have stayed in double digit wins ever since, til this season. The other thing is I'm assuming he was responsible for bringing in Andy Reid.

I left out the '98 draft, which was probably the best of the 4 years, because he got the job in the spring of 98, and I don't know how much input he really had.
