    Looking ahead to NE

all this TD/MM firing speculation is fun, but there is a game this weekend. One thing that concerns me: Hobbes. The guy is basically 312th sting and commits a lot of PI/holding. I seriously don't think he can cover without cheating. He got away with it at least twice against the Jets (not that it would have mattered, but he did).

I hope the Bills do two things:
    1. Make sure the refs know and keep an eye on him
    2. Take a shot down field against him at least once a quarter.

This would be a good game to predict this team plays pissed off and makes a statement at home.

my fear is the bills put together some solid performances and TD and MM somehow parley that into more time!
In my day we did not have self-esteem... we had self-respect, and no more of it then we earned.

I just hope we play physical. Just beat the **** out of them.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
          It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I seriously think this team lacks the pride and emotion to get pissed. I wouldn't have said this at the beginning of the season, but at some point the coaching staff lost then and now it seems like they only want a paycheck.

Let me add one more, don't hurt any of the Pats' players or we're doomed if we have to face back ups again. Heaven knows our coach panics when he sees back ups on the field.
