Savage withdraws; Modrak may still be headed to Jacksonville

Baltimore Director of College Scouting Phil Savage is no longer a candidate for the Jaguars' top personnel job. Savage left Jacksonville today after he and team owner Wayne Weaver were unable to come to a contractual agreement. Weaver will resume his search for a personnel boss. He has also interviewed three other candidates: Buffalo Assistant General Manager Tom Modrak, Baltimore Pro Personnel Director James Harris, and Jaguars Director of Player Personnel Rick Reiprish.

I don't think Modrak is going to the Jags. I read that his interview with Weaver didn't go very well.

Cool. I say promote from within Weav, and go with Reiprish.
