No one in their right mind would come to Buffalo with this coaching team. Players need to know they have a plan that works & lets a team win. These guys like to get cute when basics can win the game. Win, through & beyond.

Players go where the money is. If we offer the money we get the players.

You'd be surprised. In any case, conventional wisdom is that free agency is most effective in finding role players rather than stars. Sometimes you can sign the big stars (Takeo Spikes) but you'll tend to overpay. Even in the era of free agency, the draft is considered the way to build the core of your team.

I agree. All the really good teams build up their core through the draft, and F/A players just work to fill in some gaps.

Buffalos major problem is that we've relied too heavily on F/A b/c of innefective drafts.

Not so fast. Some of the draftees may want to pull an Eli Manning and publicly say they don't want to be drafted by Buff.

Hopefully were drafting early to get that chance.

And hopefully TD and Mularkey arent around to do that.

People better not say that TD is the only one drafting. Since Mularkey came here, we have drafted only 2 defensive players in 2 drafts.

Mularkey is as much a part of the drafting problem as TD. If you ask me, Mularkey has made TD look even worse.
