Sportsman of the year for WHAT exactly?
They won the SB last year, but that was only 3 games. This year, all NE has managed to do is be the best of the worst in the lousy AFCE. Brady was much more deserving this year.
I'm surprised they didn't give it to Bruschi for recording an NFL record number of "hits" in his first game back against us.
And BTW Phil- I moused over this thread and saw the link- I thought "Cool- Phil posted a pic- it's probably a half-nude female". Needless to say, I'm very disappointed to see this homo Brady instead. -

How can Bruschi not have won this award. I mean he saved a litter of puppies from a burning car and returned to save the squeak toys. He won the lottery and shared it with everyone attending the game. I still wish he was my dad.

I listened an interview with the guy who wrote the story. I can't remember what am radio show it was, but I distinctly remember it was about "selling magazines". He said exactly those words when they questioned why Brady would be the cover guy. He also said that Lance Armstrong wasn't quite as popular anymore, it's just "riding a bicycle", bla bla bla. Point being, in sports year without a bunch of compelling stories, they put the reigning Super Bowl champion's quarterback on the cover. Oh, and it also has to do with looks. Let's say that Chad Hutchinson was playing instead of Kyle Orton and doing alright. Would they put this guy on the cover? EVER?
