The Buffalo Bills’ management and coaching staff came into this season with a plan designed to get the team into the playoffs despite the fact that they would be starting a raw, inexperienced, first-year starter at QB in JP Losman. The idea was to limit the amount of mistakes that their “rookie” QB would make by running the ball effectively on offense, playing great defense and special teams, and winning close games. The plan might have worked if the veterans on the team had all bought into it and supported it by playing up to their capabilities.
