    If Levy comes to Buffalo...

    ...then you can expect he will bring in Kelly, Tasker and Hull as part of his coaching staff. I can just see it now. Frankly I'd like that idea...Kelly as QB coach...Tasker ST coach...Hull Oline coach. All are smart guys and are leaders so I can definitely see it.

    However I have to say I am not in favor of Levy coming here....love the guy, respect the guy, wish the guy well....but we need to move on and get a young, fiery coach that can coach here for many years to come. I dont want to rebuild again when Levy has to re-retire in a couple of years.

    I don't think that Levy would mess with Special Teams too much. That's the only bright spot this team has this season. I expect that April will keep his job no matter who the HC is.

        I just have a gut feeling he would bring in the "boys" as best he could. He is loyal and would probably feel that bringing them in (whoever that may be) would be like giving them another shot to win it all. Just a thought anyway.

        I would *love* to see Kelly on the sidelines mentoring JP. If that wouldn't spark the kid, nothing would.

            It would be great until the team lost and then people would be screaming at those they used to love...those guys have been out of the league for almost 10 years and nobody else has even interviewed them for a coaching position...

            not all that can do make great teachers...

                Agree 100%

                On a side note, I do think Kelly might have interest in a coaching position, don't know about Hull, but Tasker has said time and time again that he has absolutely no interest in coaching - every time I've heard him answer that question, he sounds completely disgusted just at the thought of it.

                  Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Bring in a bunch of former players with no coaching experience at the pro level I theorize that Marv would fail, because the game has passed him by.

                    As long as the HC, OC and DC were solid I think they could pull off being asst/position coaches. But it's a moot point....it ain't happening (nor do I really want to see it happen)

                              the coach on wgr said levy gm with kelly as head coach. that guy is a friggin ******! yeah, that's EXACTLY what this organization needs: a guy who has NO experience as a GM, and a guy who has NO experience coachin oin ANY level taking over the team when they're in a very crititcal state.

                              plus, i'd hate to see their legaices be tarnished when (notice I said when, not if) they struggle.
