Did Hugh make a play yesterday? It was a huge game, where was Hugh. Would Hugh pay him 4 million plus when Hugh vanishes in a conference final game?
I'm not sure I would.

Good point Buff. THey were also making a point of him not being out there at the start of a drive. Maybe he was injured and not letting on.

Roman Oben, the Bucs' left tackle got away with murder all game long. If you want to go on one game performances anyway, then we can just say that we shouldn't have gotten Bledsoe because he didn't perform all that well in his one SB appearance. Anyway if you want Spikes, which seems like the popular choice around here, we're gonna need to get someone to rush the passer, unless we can somehow pull of getting Spikes AND Colvin.

He had 1 solo tackle. With the story ESPN did on him earlier in the day I thought he would either be head hunting out there or just a pain in the a** jokester. The only place I saw him was on the sidelines. As far as judging him one one game it was the Conf. Champ. game. If he was hurt I can understand why he was on the bench or not that big of an impact, but unlike players who just have a bad game, he was a complete non factor. So I'll reserve judgment until the news is out.

All Pro players are held every play. They should fight through it to make some plays. After seeing that game I'm not so sure about Douglas either.

Philly lived by the blitz all year and then for some dumb reason hardly used it against TB. Maybe Hugh is not such a great pass rusher when there are not blitzers comming to take blockers away from him?

I still hope we bring him in for a look but I would not break the bank for him.

Everyone can have a bad game, it just sucks that he chose that one to be bad. TD wont break the bank for him because of his age. He would be nice, but our needs at LB and DT are more than our needs at DE IMHO.

If Kirk Douglas gets to play on horseback on the field, I say we sign him. Other wise, he's too old and slow.

Doesn't he come with a spear or a torch, or a sword or something too?

Douglas would be a good addition at the right price. I'm as mystified as anyone to see him on the sidelines last Sunday. And remember Bruce was less than awesome in the Super Bowl games.

Bruce Smith is the only player to ever get a safety in the superbowl, and he's the only player to ever tackle Barry Sanders for a safety too.

That was a sweet play. It happened right down in front of me and all of us in the end zone seats had our hands up signaling safety before it happened. :D
