This season, the Bills have scored on 9 of their 14 'opening drives of the game' (64.2%), averaging 3.64 points per drive. Unfortunately, they have only scored on 33 of the other 144 drives (22.9%), averaging 1.08 points per drive.
What does this tell us? Sounds like the coaching staff puts together a fine script for the first drive, but cannot play call once the game is underway.
Also, I don't think there have been any trick plays during opening drives this season so far...
