Some comments from a non- Bills fan....

Dora's sister's bf came to the game with us this weekend. He's a Redskins fan, and he's been following the Bills a little this year but hadn't watched a full game until Saturday. A few of his comments:

    1. "that reverse was supposed to be a pass- what the hell are they thinking?"
    2. "why do your coaches throw two yard outs on 3rd and six?"
    3. "McGahee's good- why don't you use him more?"
    4. "McGahee hasn't been on the field at all since halftime- maybe he's hurt or something"
    5. (before the game) "Is Lee Evans still on your team?" (during the game) "Why can't these guys catch the ball? I just saw a bunch of drunks making one handed grabs in the parking lot but Evans is dropping everything".

If a guy who hasn't watched the team all year can figure out what's wrong before halftime, what's TD's and MM's excuse?

IDK why they just dont throw the ball deep to evans more.

I think they are saving WM for next season, why wear him out now.

    Nice post. My thoughts exactly

oh I forgot- he said that too- "there's no vertical passing game- they need to take a shot down the field. These slants and outs aren't going anywhere."

Why not? RBs can only take a limited amount of hits in their career. Plus im sure other teams are planning to stop WM, so lets throw them off their gameplan and pass in 1st and goal at the 2

I know exactly why receivers are running short routes on third and long. They are trying to attract coverage to an under route while having somone coming across high. Holcomb dumps it to the low route every time.
The play isn't working, so the question is why keep running it?
One of our major problems on 3rd down is that we cannot protect the QB with 5 linemen. We need a TE and a HB to stay and block. We are also in 3rd and long way too often because our run game is ineffective as of late.
The sooner Mularkey figures out this is not 2002 and we are not the Steelers, the better.
                This offensive system blows.

McGahee isn't worth the commission paid to his scrum agent. Bills got damaged goods.

Not to mention the rest of Bills nation. Levy said you if you listen to the fans, you end up in the stands next to them. But if we can all see the same thing, then maybe we're not wrong. MM got to go!
“The Bills: better than the record indicates.”

Your comment reminds me of the Patriots game this year in New England when Holcomb dumped the ball off to EMO towards the end of the game when we were in 3rd and 12 and he hits Moulds on a friggin 3 yard out. People defended Holcomb saying that no one else was open but it seems like that is all he throws 3 yards outs and no one runs a longer pattern when we need a little more yardage for the first down. Real friggin elementary!
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?
