Wire looks good - but I would have to give big points to Charlie Rogers. He is a hard runner, fighting for every yard. Watching the guy you would think this was a playoff game.

Are you guys watching it on television? I'm only listening to it on the radio so I can't say who even looks good. So, no surprise players so far.

I just saw the two TD's on The Best Damn Sports show and damn that one to Price was the nicest pass by a Bill in a while.

Grant Irons may be a mildly pleasant surprise. I would have to vote for Wire though. We all knew he had potential. The surprise is the quickness with which he has adjusted to a new position.

He's gonna have to learn to cover before he can unseat Billy Jenkins.

i was told that he had 8 solo tackles and 1 assist.it seemed that he was around the ball quite a bit.

I agree on Coy Wire. He was the only guy making tackles in the second half.

That was a great pass! Dropped it perfectly over 3 guys into pretty good coverage!

I agree Wire was the standout player in the game and the surprise player of camp so far. From what I recall, he was a RB in college and did a good job(lead team) and then switched to LB and also lead the team in tackles. Sounds like he can adapt VERY WELL. He hits hard and plays the run very well. Hope he turns into an all around safety by adding good coverage skills. I think the coverage will take him awhile(weeks/months, not years) to adapt to, but he should be fine in time.

Our RB corp struggled in the game and I have concerns with it. Does Joe Burns have a shot at making the team? I think he has potential to be a solid back.

Welcome Sennsai!!!

Yeah, I think we're gonna have one of the toughest secondaries in the NFL this year...

FINALLY some depth too!
