The history of the BILLS "SHOUT" song

Bet you didn't know this I was listening to KB1520 they do behind the music everyday @ 5:30 and the DJ was talking about the Isley Bros. and he said that the Shout song that the Isley Bros. did is the BUFFALO BILLS
"Shout!" The writer just rewrote the words to the song I never knew this.

    Weeeeeeellll,
You know you make me wanna shout
Kick my heels up & shout
Throw my hands up & shout
Throw my hands back & shout
    Come on now, (shout)
Don't forget to say you will
Don't forget to say yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
    (Say you will)
Say it right now, baby (say you will)
Come on, come on (say you will)
Say it, oh-eeeee (say you will)
    Come on now (say)
Say that you love me (say)
Say that you need me (say)
Say that you want me (say)
    You wanna please me (say)
    (x3): Come on now (say)

I still remember (shoo be doo wa)
When you used to be 9 years old (shoo be doo wa)
Yeah yeah I was in love with you (shoo be doo wa)
    >From the bottom of my soul (shoo be doo wa)
Yeah yeah now that you've grown up (shoo be doo wa)
& old enough to know (shoo be doo wa)
You wanna leave me (shoo be doo wa)
You wanna let me go (shoo be doo wa shoo wop)

    BUFFALO BILLS
    "Shout!"

The Bills make me wanna shout!
Throw your hands up and shout!
Throw your head back and shout!
C'mon now, the Bills are makin' it happen now.
Stand up now c'mon and shout!
    Yea-ea-eah!

Say you will - Shout it right now baby.
    Say you will - C'mon, c'mon.

    Shout! Buffalo's happenin' now
Shout! We're on the move now
Shout! The Bills are happenin' now
Shout! They're making it happen now
    Shout! We've got the spirit
Shout! A lot of spirit - Yeah!

If that is truly the as then there are several other teams around the league that have stolen the song from B-Lo.

The song sucks. I'm a Jet fan.

But I was born in Buffalo and am a die hard Sabres fan. The real buffalo song was "Walking Proud" or something like that.

I remember the commercial in the '70's and it started with a woman walking through Buffalo, singing by herself, then at the end the streets were packed with fans singing that song. That song rocked. It was original, and belonged to Buffalo. I wonder if any of you fans remember...

Agreed. I love when we have something to cheer about and 70,000 other people are singing the song after a touchdown. That's such a cool feeling.

Who didn't know that was copied from the shout song? Don't you remember when some company bought the rights to the song years ago and told the Bills they would have to pay for the right to play it at the stadium. At first the Bills said no and the fans almost burned the stadium down. They paid the fee.
