Anthrax Scare At Ralph Wilson Stadium
Buffalo, NY - Tuesday, December 20, 2005 -

Buffalo Bills football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head Coach Mike Mularkey immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Nevermind..... they are 3rd in the NHL (in terms of overall points).

Division leaders get the top 3 spots in the conference and then it goes by points. Ottawa is 1st in the division with Buffalo so that's why they are 4th.

I pulled up espn.com, so I saw it. I knew that's how it worked, but 2nd in the NHL and 4th in the Eastern Conference sounded really weird (3rd in the NHL sounds a little bit more realistic).

yesterday we were second in the NHL and fourth in the eastern conference. Detroit won last night and shot ahead of us. As long as Ottowa is in front of us best we can do is fourth in the conference. It's amazing we are even near them and could catch them. Even if it's short lived it's quite an accomplishment.

If they keep winning like they have, we will be at or near the top regardless.
