Actually, there was a point to this post..

Is anybody recording the game? I can't, the DVR is tied up with more important programming this afternoon...

I'm not laughing. I'm crying. I may have just witnessed the beginning of the end of another year before it even starts.

That's pretty much why I'm still laughing... I don't think the ramifications of this game are as severe as some of you guys, but I do think it may have saved Mularkey's job.

Who cares if it saves Mularkey's job? RW has to know that he needs to kick TD to the curb or oversee draft day. Aside from that, the win f**k**g RULES!!!!!!!

Like I said before, I would be willing to give Mularkey one more year. Donahoe, however, no way.

Exactly. Right now i'd like to see how Mularkey can do without Donahoe pulling his strings. It would be interesting to see how Modrak does next year.

Sorry to be the Grinch here, but if MM is still coaching and Modrak is the GM, I guarantee we will miss the playoffs again for the 6th straight season. And when that happens, MM will get canned, but TM will still be here.

And then TM will hire a new HC and '07 will be a rebuilding year instead of '06 (if the house cleaning happens this year like it should). Which then means if we get really lucky, we might make the playoffs in '09.

Sounds great, doesn't it? :sigh:

If we get rid of TD and keep Mularkey we will be just as bad next year as we are now. TD doesnt call the plays. Mularkey actually got lucky that Mcgee did what he did or he would be explaining to the media that "we took three steps forward and five steps backward today," like he always does. This man gives up on the run way to early especially when we have the lead. I do recall it being first and goal and sure enough he calls a play to throw the ball. You would think he would have learned his lesson against Miami. If you look at it Willis gets most of his carries in a no win situation. This playcalling could be figured out by a popwarner team. Our points in the second half didnt come from the offense it came from a 99 yard return and an interception for a touchdown. MM just aint an nfl coach and never will be.

I agree with McGahee getting the ball in a no win situation. I have him in my fantasy league and I cannot tell you how many times he has not gotten the ball inside the 5 yard line. I mean come on the guy is 6'1" 235lbs. Give him the God D*%N ball down there. Mularkey does need an offensive cordinator that will play the odds instead of trying to catch the Defense off guard!!!
P.S. Losman better be the starter next week!!!

As much as Id like to see them both leave I could deal with MM staying over TD. Just to see what kinda changes might occur with his coaching. It maynot change but who knows for sure. BUT like I said I want BOTH of them gone.:bigwave:
